Sanitizing your floors with precision: the Lampron promise
Every tonne of contaminated soil sent unnecessarily to the treatment center means direct costs for you. Our ultra-precise selective excavation reduces the volumes transported to authorized sites, thereby minimizing your costs.
With 50 years of experience, we work with a network of environmental experts to deliver a safe, compliant site that will regain its full land value.
Rigor
We turn technical data into a concrete plan of action. Our proactive approach enables us to provide you with a realistic, detailed estimate, in which every dollar is invested in the rehabilitation of your property, with no unjustified extras.
Effectiveness
Restricted areas? No problem at all. Our specialized equipment can access them and quickly eliminate the source of contamination, while ensuring that deadlines are met and teams are safe.
Traceability
Each load is tracked by the Traces Québec system, providing irrefutable proof of the legal disposal of your land. With a decontamination certificate, you can be sure that your land retains its full value.
We're digging into
your questions
How can I reduce the cost of floor decontamination?
The secret to minimizing costs lies in selective excavation. Rather than sending everything to the treatment center, we isolate precisely the portions of contaminated soil by carefully reading environmental reports. By separating sound soil from contaminated soil directly on site, we reduce the tonnage billed by disposal centers and transportation costs.
What is a decontamination certificate and why is it necessary?
The land decontamination certificate proves that your property meets the criteria set by the Ministère de l'Environnement, de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques, de la Faune et des Parcs (MELCCFP). Without it, it's almost impossible to obtain financing or sell your property.
Why is traceability via Traces Québec mandatory?
Since 2023, the Environmental Quality Act requires that every movement of contaminated soil be documented. This legal protection proves that the soil has been disposed of at an approved site. Ignoring this step exposes you to severe fines and long-term civil liability.
Can I decontaminate my property myself?
No. Handling contaminated soil is governed by the Environmental Quality Act. Doing the decontamination yourself, without official monitoring slips, could render your property unmarketable and worsen contamination of the water table.
How much does a tonne of contaminated soil cost?
The price per tonne depends on the level of toxicity of the soil, according to criteria A, B, C or higher. Including excavation of contaminated soil, specialized transport and treatment costs, costs generally range from $75 to $175 per tonne. A field assessment is essential to obtain a realistic estimate and avoid unpleasant surprises.
