your questions
Do you cut off the electricity and gas?
No. Requests to Hydro-Québec and Energir must be made by the owner. That said, we systematically validate de-energization and disconnection of services before work begins, to ensure worksite safety.
Can you demolish part of a building without damaging the rest?
Yes, this is called selective demolition. This involves controlled cutting and, where necessary, the installation of temporary supports to protect the remaining sections.
How long does it take to demolish a house?
Demolition itself usually takes just a few days. What takes the longest is often the preparation: permits, authorizations and disconnections. Once everything's in order, our teams get down to work so you can move on quickly.
Do you leave the foundations in the ground?
It all depends on your project. We can remove foundations, slabs and even subsurface drains, or leave some elements in place to prepare for excavation of a new foundation according to your construction plansexcavating a new foundation according to your construction plans.
What do you do with hazardous materials such as asbestos and lead?
We coordinate removal according to strict decontamination protocols. Materials are securely handled, sealed and transported to specialized centers, accompanied by regulatory-compliant tracking slips.
